Labelling consultancy Legal Impackt appoints Tom McBride Regulatory Compliance Advisor

Legal labelling consultancy Legal Impackt, a Sun Branding Solutions business brand, has announced a new addition to its team of regulatory experts.


Tom McBride joins Legal Impackt as Regulatory Compliance Advisor on General Merchandise. The appointment is another sign of the business' ambitious growth plan which includes extending its capabilities to include general merchandise as well as food services.


As a chartered quality professional with 14 years experience working on a wide range of products including toys, childcare products, electrical and DIY goods, Tom McBride brings a wealth of experience in general merchandise regulation to Legal Impackt.


During his eight-year retail career, he has worked with leading retailers and been responsible for the quality, safety and legality of new products. During this period he has gained experience in product appraisal, specification, testing, pack copy, inspection, product improvement and regulatory compliance. In the past, Tom has also held the position of Secretary of UK Notified Bodies Toys Group, where he represented the UK in Europe, whilst he also worked with an international test laboratory to build a new nursery product test facility that helped brands adhere to UKAS requirements.
