PALFINGER has expanded its FL range with the launch of the FLM 25, the company’s first middle-seat truck-mounted forklift. Now available across EMEA, including a fully electric version, the new model prioritises operator comfort and reinforces PALFINGER’s position as the only one-stop shop for truck-mounted forklifts.
“All operators ask for comfort, safety and control. This is what the new FLM 25 by PALFINGER delivers,” the company said in a statement. “Its high level of driver comfort ensures a superior working experience, while proven safety features and easy maintenance guarantee confidence in every operation.”
The FLM 25 introduces a central, elevated seating position at 1.44 metres, providing operators with a 360° view and improved handling. Externally routed hydraulic lines at the mast ensure a clear line of sight, while the wide roof and spacious cabin enhance weather protection and operator comfort. A large uncluttered footwell and intuitive control layout are designed to reduce fatigue and increase efficiency.
“Comfort is not just a nice-to-have, it’s essential for safe and efficient handling. With its unique middle-seat concept, the FLM 25 directly addresses a key customer need: supporting operator peace of mind while ensuring maximum safety on site,” said Gerhard Auer, Product Line Leader Special Lifting Solutions at PALFINGER.
The forklift delivers a lifting capacity of 2,500 kg while maintaining a dead weight under 2,000 kg, offering a strong payload-to-weight ratio. Its 180° steering angle provides agility in confined spaces, and telescopic forks enable unloading from the second row of a truck. A 4-way steering mode allows the handling of long loads, while the ground control function offers safe operation when mounting or dismounting from the truck.
“Our comprehensive range of truck-mounted forklifts puts us in a very strong market position. Side-seat and middle-seat models, in both standard and 4-way versions, fully electric variants and box-mounted forklifts with remote control make us the only provider on the market to offer solutions across all categories,” said Andreas Hille, SVP Global Product Line Management and R&D at PALFINGER.
“The recently introduced FL range is of great strategic value for us. Due to its modular design it meets the diverse requirements of industries such as transport and logistics, construction, infrastructure and many more. The latest addition, the FLM 25, reinforces our commitment to offer smart, comprehensive solutions for every challenge that our customers face.”
Both side-seat (FLS) and middle-seat (FLM) models in the FL series provide easy access to service points, simplifying daily inspections and service work. PALFINGER emphasises that this improves uptime, reduces service costs and extends machine lifetimes. Customers also benefit from a one-stop shop approach, with innovative design, digital tools and professional service delivered as a single package.
All models in the FL range are available with a diesel engine or as a fully electrified solution. The electric version enables low-noise, low-emission operations – particularly suited for urban areas and night-time deliveries. With a maximum system output of 26.3 kW, the electric FL series provides strong performance while weighing up to 10% less than comparable models.
The FL range also features CONNECTED plus+, allowing fleet managers to access real-time data on location, charging processes and more, which can be integrated into existing fleet management systems.
The FLM 25 is now available for order across EMEA. PALFINGER has confirmed that the FLM 15, a lighter model optimised for the beverage and retail sector, will follow at the end of 2025.
