Logistics UK has announced the shortlisted contestants in its Transport Manager of the Year competition for 2025.

The annual contest provides a unique opportunity for transport managers to showcase their extensive knowledge, industry expertise and leadership skills and to be recognised by other industry professionals for their work in such a critical role.

The shortlist was announced at Logistics UK’s Transport Manager conference in Birmingham on Tuesday (2 December), the final event in this year’s 25th anniversary series which was attended by over 400 delegates.

The 2025 Transport Manager of the Year shortlist is: Alex Colquhoun from Glasgow City Council, Maizy Griffiths from Easy Bathrooms and Lee Thompson-Halls from Brocklesby Ltd, who have all been invited to attend Logistics UK’s Logistics Awards on 11 December at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, London, where the ultimate winner will be revealed.

The competition took place over three stages from May to September 2025, and included a legislation and compliance knowledge test, a case study submission and an interview with a panel of judges.

Tom Griffith, Manager – Member Advice Centre at Logistics UK, who was on the judging panel, said: “The Logistics UK Transport Manager of the Year competition recognises and celebrates the best transport managers and their industry expertise, leadership skills and operational knowledge. The judges were particularly impressed with the high quality of all the entrants, and I would like to extend my congratulations to those who have been shortlisted.”
