FedEx has ordered 131 new DAF trucks as part of a major fleet investment across the UK, France and the Netherlands.
The order includes 100 DAF XD tractor units for operations in the UK, 20 DAF XF tractors for long-distance work in France and 11 DAF XG tractors for the Netherlands.
The deal will see FedEx replace some existing linehaul vehicles while also introducing DAF trucks into its French operations for the first time.
FedEx operates an international transport network serving more than 220 markets and territories.
The latest order extends a long-standing relationship between the company and DAF, as well as parent group PACCAR.

She added: “The addition of these DAF vehicles supports our ongoing efforts to enhance operational efficiency while providing our teams with modern, high-quality trucks backed by a strong service network”.
The new vehicles have been specified for different roles across the FedEx network.
DAF XD 450 models will be used for regional and national distribution, while XF 480 Sleeper Cab trucks will be deployed on longer-haul work.
FedEx has selected XG 480 models for routes where greater cab space is required.
DAF said the order strengthens its position within the FedEx fleet across Europe, particularly in the UK and the Netherlands, while opening up a new relationship with the company’s French operation.

DAF Trucks is part of PACCAR and is headquartered in Haddenham, Buckinghamshire.
The manufacturer said it held a 29.7% share of the UK market for trucks above 6 tonnes gross vehicle weight in 2025.
Its UK and Ireland dealer network includes 136 locations, while all 34 DAF sales sites are being prepared to support electric truck sales and servicing.
