Smurfit Kappa has announced the appointment of Chris Collier as managing director of Smurfit Kappa Recycling UK. He reports to Leon Graff who will be devoting a greater proportion of his time to the integration of Reparco paper and the European Recycling business.
Chris Collier joins from Veolia, where he was most recently general manager, municipal, with responsibility for the company’s local authority contracts in the East region. His 30-year career in the recycling sector includes nineteen years at SCA Recycling, where he rose to the position of operations and commercial director. His extensive leadership experience also includes spells with Nordic Recycling, CK Group and Andusia Recovered Fuels.
