A joint venture between leading transport and logistics provider, Potter Logistics and hazardous waste management company, Chloros Environmental has led to the announcement of a brand new, fully licensed waste transfer facility in the West Midlands.
The strategic partnership involves the opening of a 4,000 sq. ft. hazardous waste transfer facility, located at Potter Logistics' top tier COMAH Droitwich distribution centre (DC).
Opening in July 2013, this fully permitted facility will be operated by a highly experienced team of chemical engineers who are fully conversant with the issues and requirements of handling waste chemicals.
Managing director of Potter Logistics, Matthew Lamb comments, "Our Droitwich DC specialises in the storage and distribution of chemicals and hazardous products. It proved to be the ideal site for this new joint venture.
"Health, safety and the environment are always at the top of our agenda and the highly qualified Chloros Environmental team will run this facility in compliance with the strictest regulations."
Richard Hurdle, director of Chloros Environmental adds, "We have entered into a partnership with Potter Logistics as part of our growth strategy. The joint venture will enable us to offer existing customers an improved range of services.
"It will also create openings for us to enter new markets and allow us to build on our growing reputation within the hazardous waste industry. We are delighted to be working with Potter Logistics on this joint venture and look forward to a successful working relationship."
