As a recognised provider of environmental solutions, Oran Environmental Solutions recently took the decision to outsource the repair and maintenance service for all its Scottish based vehicles, selecting to enter a partnership arrangement with the Euroway Group for the provision of its fleet management requirements.
As part of the deal, Euroway will be responsible for the fleet management of over 190 pieces of Oran Environmental Solutions vehicle equipment including tractor units and rigids, as well a wide range of waste management trailers and tankers.
According to Peter Deighan, Procurement and Transport Manager at Oran Environmental Solutions, "Prior to our recent Head Office move, we had been planning the outsourcing of the maintenance of our fleet. We have now relocated to our new Head Office in Grangemouth, which has no workshop facilities, and therefore the critical decision was taken to source a partner to provide this business activity for us in the future."
Over a long period, Oran Environmental Solutions talked at length with three potential suitors for its on going fleet management programme, however according to Peter Deighan, it was Euroway that came up with the most suitable overall cost effective package, giving Oran Environmental Solutions the "one stop shop" facility that they were seeking to achieve.
