To celebrate the company's 25th year, four fearless females from Mentor Training - the UK's leading workplace transport and mobile plant training provider - are taking part in a sponsored skydive. The dive, scheduled for Sunday 9th June, will see the four fundraisers jump from 10,000ft. Beginning with a 5,000ft freefall, the team will reach speeds of around 120 mph before opening their chutes and, fingers crossed, being safely reunited at ground level!
Mission 25 charity challenge
The skydive is taking place as part of 'Mission 25', Mentor Training's challenge to celebrate their quarter century by raising £25,000 for charity. The company will also be donating 50p for every training day sold between April 2013 and March 2014.
At the end of the 12 month challenge, proceeds will be split equally between five charities; Help for Heroes, Prostate Cancer UK, Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity, Children's Hospice Association Scotland and Children in Need will each benefit from the initiative.
