Isuzu Grafter scoops major trade award

At this year’s CV Show, the Isuzu Grafter 3.5t rigid truck from leading truck manufacturer Isuzu was voted winner of the 2015 ‘Best Builder’s Truck’ award from ‘Trade Van Driver’, one of the UK’s main business van magazines. This is the fourth consecutive year that the Isuzu Grafter has won this particular award, which is unprecedented in the history of the annual trade awards programme.

Isuzu Truck UK’s managing director Pete Murphy received the prestigious award from TVD editor Matthew Eisenegger on Isuzu’s exhibition stand at last month’s CV Show at the NEC in Birmingham.

The 2015 Trade Van Driver Awards aim to give recognition to the manufacturers, organisations and people who, in the opinion of the judges, offer the very best to retail buyers.

According to this year’s judging panel, the Isuzu Grafter is built like a big truck but has dimensions that ideally suit the outdoor trades. Accessibility to customers’ property is a constant problem for builders and landscapers but the Isuzu Grafter is favoured and respected as a compact vehicle with great manoeuvrability that can take the knocks in use and deliver excellent reliability.

Trade Van Driver, a specialist trade van magazine for small business users, organises this annual awards programme and the entries are judged not only by the expert panel of journalists at the magazine but also by a panel of readers who regularly use light commercial vehicles as part of their businesses.

“Now in its fourth year, the TVD Awards has, once again, highlighted the leading products aimed at the commercial van market. It was pleasing to see that some products received their first-ever award win but obviously we are absolutely delighted that our ‘Grafter’ has received this accolade for the fourth year in a row,” commented Keith Child, marketing director at Isuzu Truck UK.
