Humanitarian Logistics Case Study Competition at Kühne Logistics University KLU,the best team wins a scholarship

For the third year in a row, Kühne Logistics University is holding a case study competition for Bachelor students. After last year's successful event with 24 participants from Germany, Turkey, Poland, and Qatar, the competition will again focus on humanitarian logistics this year. In 2012, the theme was "a humanitarian assistance intervention in Colombia, in the aftermath of an earthquake." The teams were asked to make strategic decisions, initiate transfer thinking, demonstrate a solution-oriented approach, and make a professional presentation. And they did everything in English. At the end of April, motivated students and graduates with a business management background will once again face the logistical challenges of a humanitarian assistance intervention, based on a real case. The winning team will receive a scholarship at KLU! Participants are not required to have any prior knowledge of humanitarian logistics. The deadline for applications is April 14, 2013.
