Honeywell (NYSE: HON) has announced that it has joined forces with software developer MMCC Consultants to provide applications for Honeywell's real-time hand-held data capture and processing hardware. The devices will offer support for those in field service and management, giving them the ability to access their back-office systems remotely.
MMCC Consultants is an independent software developer providing business management systems for back-office and mobile applications. Its services include consultancy, the development of bespoke software solutions, and on-going system support. The company started in 1998 and is based in Milton Keynes.
"Honeywell is a major player in this field, so we are really happy to be working with the company," said Stuart Griffin, MMCC Consultants' Sales and Marketing Manager. "The cooperation will bring data capture hardware and software together, offering a complete solution for the market place."
