Five of the very best from Paneltex at CV Show

Leading UK bodybuilder Paneltex takes centre stage within the Cool Pavilion at this year's CV Show with an impressive display confirming its diverse product portfolio and featuring a truly varied selection of vehicle bodies from the long established manufacturing divisions within the company.

The 5 vehicle line up starts with a 12tonne DAF LF45.180 Euro6 rigid that features an 18ft Paneltex refrigerated body built to ATP Class C standard. With a GAH refrigeration system as standard, as well as double side doors and triple rear doors, the insulated body will also highlight Paneltex fluted front corners and rear roof vortex which give the truck an added aerodynamics capability.

Next in line will be a 7.5tonne Mitsubishi Cantor with a 15ft ATP certified Paneltex refrigerated box body, designed for temperatures from -18° C to +4° C. With double rear doors and a pallet width side door, the refrigerated body features a GAH J503 direct drive refrigeration system, which is monitored by a Transcan temperature recorder with twin probes. The vehicle also features a 1000kg tuck away tail lift.

Completing the Paneltex box body display at the show will be a Mercedes Sprinter chassis cab with Paneltex 3650mm refrigerated box body designed specifically for the intensive, multi-drop, home delivery market. This vehicle, which will be in the livery of retailer Morrisons, has double rear doors, hinged for 270° opening as well as a single side door to each side, which will open through 180°. A pair of lightweight insulated doors is fitted within the body to separate the ambient area from the chilled area, whilst refrigeration is provided by a bespoke GAH Arrow AM20 super lightweight refrigeration system.

Representing Paneltex Somers will be two vehicles. Firstly, a Mercedes LWB Citan is on display, featuring a Somers refrigerated conversion that will enable freeze temperatures up to -25°C. Alongside this vehicle will be a refrigerated left-hand drive VW Crafter that will be working in Holland for a Dutch customer, when the CV Show comes to a close. This medium wheel base, high roof VW Crafter also provides a full freeze facility.

Announcing details of their show plans, Chris Berridge, managing director of Paneltex said, "As staunch supporters of the CV Show, and the Cool Pavilion in particular, Paneltex is keen to show a varied and interesting selection of refrigerated vehicle bodies that showcases our position as one of the U.K.'s leading specialist commercial vehicle bodybuilders."
