Chartered Institute of Logistics CILT annual logistics conference Emerging from the Recession

The Annual Logistics Conference held by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in the UK (CILT) in June boasted a star studded line-up of senior managers from the industry's major third part logistics operators. Conference Chairman Jim Spittle, Vice-President of CILT, suggested that the panel debate team came from companies representing perhaps 70% of the nation's 3PL capacity.

The group discussed their own experience in meeting the conference theme, 'Emerging from the Recession', and responded to a range of questions relating to current and future performance prospects, environmental, economic and employment issues, and operational matters.
