Following the recently announced decision by Burnt Tree to establish a dedicated Contract Hire Division under the leadership of Director Mark Howell, the company has now revealed that the first two staff to join this newly created standalone division are Tracey Cox and Mark Pattinson, both in the positions of Contract Hire Business Development Manager.
Announcing details of the new team members, Burnt Tree's director of contract hire Mark Howell said, "When I first joined Burnt Tree earlier this year, I said that I was looking forward to developing this new division of the business and applying my skills and knowledge to building a team of key industry sales personnel to sit alongside the already professional management and operational teams here at Burnt Tree. The addition of Tracey and Mark is the first stage in a series of proven experienced sales appointments that we have planned for the division over the next few months."
An experienced industry professional, Tracey Cox celebrates 8 years with Burnt Tree this year having been with the company since 2006, and is well known to its customers in her current role at the company, based out of the company's head office in Shrewsbury. Prior to joining Burnt Tree, Tracey worked for another rental and leasing company for a 6 year period in a number of rental and contracts roles.
Mark Pattinson brings a wealth of experience in the temperature controlled vehicle sector to the Burnt Tree contract hire team, having joined the company from rivals Petit Forestier, where he spent five years as Southern regional sales manager. During his time at PF, Mark won the coveted "European Salesman of the Year 2010" and prior to this position, Mark spent 12 years working at Ryder in a variety of sales roles.
"These are exciting times for Burnt Tree with its ambitious plans in place to substantially increase its presence in the UK commercial vehicle contract hire sector. Tracey and Mark will play an invaluable role in ensuring that these exciting plans going forward are achieved," added Mark Howell.
