following the success of Global Distribution Strategies 2008 in Amsterdam. Over 150 delegates attended Ti's inaugural Global Distribution Strategies Conference last week in Amsterdam.
Attendees heard from a range of expert speakers and took part in interactive panel discussions. A diverse range of topics were covered, including analysis of the key developing geographies, technology issues, environmental and infrastructure challenges.
More than just a conference, many delegates also took advantage of Capgemini's mini-Accelerated Solutions Environment workshop, which involved a highly innovative and participative format. There were also over 20 'Ask the Expert' sessions, where delegates were given free access to Ti's analysts.
The success of the conference has meant that Ti is now preparing for its next event – this time in Shenzhen, China followed by Atlanta, USA.
John Manners-Bell, CEO of Ti, commented: 'We are delighted to be rolling out the Global Distribution Strategies conferences on a worldwide basis. We have clearly demonstrated that there is a demand for a conference series which brings together our analysts' expertise with leading speakers from around the world. Mainland China is an obvious next step for us due to its importance in the global logistics industry.'
