If we are to tackle climate change effectively and meet stringent targets for emissions reduction, then encouraging the uptake of renewable electricity by households and business is vital. Unlocking renewable generation through planning, finance and incentives for independent generators is crucial to this objective.

However, with nearly 15% of UK emissions coming from domestic heating, we must find a way to encourage the use of renewable heat and reduce our dependence on gas.

On November 19th, Good Energy, the UK's only 100% renewable electricity supplier will unveil a renewable heat incentive and gas tariff for UK homes and businesses.

"There has been a lot of talk but little action on incentivising renewable heat. Once again, Good Energy will show the way forward."

- Juliet Davenport, Founder and CEO, Good Energy

Good Energy will be offering a vision of how a system should be structured for maximum uptake. A vision that is actually working.

As a pioneer in the renewable energy sector, Good Energy is leading the way with 100% renewable electricity, tariffs to support independent renewable electricity generation, and now an innovative and groundbreaking renewable heat incentive.

Good Energy takes a pragmatic but passionate position in its dealings with the industry, regulators and the government. As an independent, ethical business in the energy sector it is driving change from within.
