Parker Racor updates its medium and heavy duty truck spare parts catalogue and applications guide

The Racor Filter Division Europe of Parker Hannifin Corporation, the global leader in motion and control technologies has made available an updated publication aimed at simplifying the specification and application of replacement filters elements and spare parts. The company’s new ‘Spare Parts Catalogue & Applications Guide’ for the medium and heavy duty truck aftermarket is now in stock and available to order.

Designed as a key tool and aid for any customer-facing person in the truck independent aftermarket, the updated spares catalogue highlights key OEM ParFit™ interchanges. There are now 160 interchanges for truck manufacturers such as Volvo, Mercedes, DAF, Scania, Ford, Iveco, MAN and Renault, each one designed to deliver OEM quality in the independent aftermarket.

Racor’s core business is the design and manufacture of complete engine filtration solutions for the world’s leading vehicle manufacturers. The company works in partnership with premier automotive OEMs to create first-fit filtration products installed on the engine or truck. The aftermarket versions of these filters are also manufactured by Racor and can be found in this catalogue. They are identical to the OEM filter in fit, form, function and performance, and will not violate or invalidate vehicle warranty conditions.

Designed for ease-of-use, the new catalogue features product type colour coding at the top of each page to help identify the application: air, air brake dryer, cabin air, crank case ventilation, fuel, oil or hydraulic steering filters. Similarly, the corresponding OEM is displayed at the top of each page together with the relevant primary applications. A table at the bottom of the page gives details on each product, including the OEM part number and the equivalent Racor interchange.
