CHEP's parent company Brambles Limited has announced the appointment of Dolph Westerbos as Group President, CHEP Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA). He will take up his new post in mid-April and will report to Brambles Chief Executive Officer, Tom Gorman.
Mr Westerbos joins from Dell where he has been Vice President, Solutions & Services for EMEA, since 2008. He was responsible for its services, software and data centre business, managing sales revenue of US$2.5 billion across more than 50 countries.
Before joining Dell in 2006, Mr Westerbos was President, EMEA for ModusLink, a global provider of supply chain, IT and business process outsourcing services to high technology companies. He spent 12 years at ModusLink, holding various senior executive positions in Europe, Asia and the USA. Mr Westerbos has a Master's Degree in Management from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University, California.
