Ismo Leppanen has been appointed Sales & Marketing Director for HIAB Limited, one of the World's most advanced materials handling companies, taking responsibility for HIAB lorry-loader cranes, MULTILIFT demountables and Loglift Jonsered forestry crane systems.
Ismo joined HIAB 17 years ago, soon after having graduated with a BSc in Mechanical Engineering. His initial responsibilities involved assisting the Company in the setting up of DROPS Hooklift units for the British Army in the late 1980's.
Progressing within the business, Ismo was subsequently responsible for Technical Sales Support for MULTILIFT products in the early 1990's. His knowledge and experience led to the role of Product Manager for MULTILIFT during the mid 1990's, Sales Manager for MULTILIFT in the late 1990's and Product and Marketing Manager for HIAB and MULTILIFT from 2002 – 2005.
Ismo will continue to develop existing and potential sales activities and on-going
marketing strategies nationwide, concentrating on growing sales within new niche sectors. Working alongside highly experienced technical teams, Ismo will manage operations from the company's UK HQ in Ellesmere, Shropshire.
The new appointment effective from April 2005 is further evidence of HIAB's expansion and commitment to growth. A constantly evolving product range which embraces the very best in materials handling, lifting and moving technology, together with a newly launched service and after sales package has helped build the Company into a market leader.
