Interroll will showcase its latest warehouse sortation and automation technologies at Tomorrow’s Warehouse in Coventry

Interroll is set to spotlight the growing importance of smarter warehouse sortation systems as logistics operators face mounting pressure from rising e-commerce demand and increasingly complex fulfilment requirements.

The company will join warehouse professionals and industry leaders at Tomorrow’s Warehouse, taking place at Coventry’s CBS Arena on 14 May, where it plans to showcase technologies designed to improve speed, flexibility and operational efficiency.

As online retail volumes continue to grow and delivery expectations tighten, warehouse operators are under increasing pressure to process a wider range of products while maintaining throughput during busy trading periods.

Sortation systems have become a key focus for businesses looking to improve resilience and reduce disruption across supply chains.

Interroll said its approach centres on modular systems that allow operators to scale capacity, adjust layouts and improve product flow with minimal downtime.

The company’s solutions include its Modular Conveyor Platform with High-Performance Diverts and the wider Sortteq range, which are designed to support both fast-moving e-commerce fulfilment and large-scale industrial sorting operations.

Hilton Campbell, UK managing director at Interroll, said logistics businesses were facing growing operational complexity driven by changing customer expectations.

“There is greater pressure than ever for sortation systems to deliver high levels of efficiency and reliability,” he said.

Mr Campbell said businesses also needed “agility in the face of rapid demand fluctuations”.

“Businesses need solutions that are scalable from day one,” he added.

Interroll said visitors attending Tomorrow’s Warehouse would be able to speak directly with engineers about warehouse challenges and automation strategies aimed at improving long-term operational performance.

The event is expected to bring together logistics specialists, warehouse operators and technology providers from across the sector.
