Imtech ICT Logistics Software will be touring a series of events throughout this autumn. At three different venues Imtech will discus logistics IT issues in addition to demonstrating the capabilities of its LBASE Transport and Warehouse Management System as well as its cargoNET integrated express and parcels software.
First stop on the tour is Totally Logistcs North, a new exhibition for logistics professionals, which will be held on 28-29 September 2011 at Doncaster Racecourse, one of the best state-of-the-art exhibition and conference facilities in the North of England. In addition to an exhibition, which will include Imtech's stand, the event will host seminars, demonstrations and there will also be a site visit to IKEA's nearby 1.4 million square feet automated warehouse.
Then, heading down to the midlands, Imtech will be exhibiting at the UKWA's specialist annual conference, Warehousing Futures 2011 on 10-11 October, which is being held at the Ramada Hotel, Sutton Coldfield. Here, Imtech will be joining leading suppliers to the warehousing sector in showcasing their latest products and services in a networking exhibition environment that will support the conference.
The event is aimed at warehouse owners and managers, as well as the logistics directors and operations directors of warehouse users. With this year's theme being 'Building a Stronger Future', the conference will feature sessions on property, labour costs, accurate information management, automation, picking accuracy, forklift truck fleets and health & safety, security and environmental issues.
Following Warehousing Futures, Imtech will make the short hop to the spectacular Thinktank Planetarium, at Millennium Point in Birmingham, to take part in the Supply Chain Orchestration event on 18 October. This event will focus on the key issues facing the logistics industry and the technology that is available to fine-tune supply chains and optimise performance. Rob Gibney, UK Country Manager of Imtech ICT Logistics Software, will be speaking on the subject of 'Using TMS (Transport Management Software) to streamline operations, improve service and save money.'
Endorsed by both the UKWA and the Logistics Leaders Network, Supply Chain Orchestration will give operational and supply chain professionals an opportunity to network with other industry leaders and influencers, view and assess new and innovative technologies as well as feedback and influence future technology developments. Finally, looking ahead to the next year, Imtech ICT Logistics Software will also be at Multimodal 2012, which will be held at the NEC, Birmingham on 1-3 May 2012.
Anticipating an exciting schedule ahead, Rob Gibney, commented: "These events provide an excellent opportunity to meet the logistics sector and discuss some of the key issues affecting operations as well as present some of Imtech's solutions. At the conferences and exhibitions that we attended throughout the last year we received a high level of positive reaction to our new LBASE TMS / WMS solution as well as our cargoNET integrated express and parcel logistics software. By taking an active role in these events during the autumn, we can offer our logistics IT insight to many more industry professionals."
