FTA for IMHX 2007

The Freight Transport Association will be exhibiting at IMHX 2007, to be held at the NEC from 13 to 16 March. IMHX 2007 is the UK's major materials handling exhibition. FTA has recently increased its auditing services to include racking inspections and full details will be available on Stand B98 in Hall 20.

FTA's Vehicle Inspection Service has conducted safety and maintenance checks on fork lift vehicles for many years, together with driver training, health and safety and overall compliance guidance and advice.

FTA driver training courses include yard shunting, reversing assistant (banksman), safe loading, lift-truck operator, slinger/signaller for loader cranes together with a wide range of LGV courses and 'train the trainer' events.

FTA's 40 year established Vehicle Inspection Service provides for regular checks on fork-lift and other handling equipment and ensures safety and legal compliance.

In 2005 FTA introduced its Racking Inspection Service designed to examine the current quality and condition of warehouse racking, to audit the quality of existing inspection or repair and to ensure compliance with the various statutory obligations which apply to racking equipment.

Full details and literature relating to all FTA services will be available from Stand B98 Hall 20 throughout the show.
