Doosan Benelux SA has delivered its first Bobcat machines to Storent, one of the largest rental companies in the Baltic States. A total of 85 Bobcat machines composed of Skid-Steer Loaders, Compact Tracked Loaders and Mini-excavators plus attachments were delivered between June and July.
The 3 Baltic Bobcat dealers – Bobcat Balti in Estonia, Kono in Latvia and UAB “Technikos Uostas” in Lithuania - took care professionally of the Pre Delivery Inspection, the actual delivery together as well as training the Storent personnel on the product.
Storent is one of the leading construction and industrial equipment rental companies in the Baltics, operating 23 rental depots across Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. Storent was founded in 2008 by Andris Bisnieks and Andris Pavlovs who had significant experience in equipment rental before creating Storent.
At the end of November 2014, Darby private equity made a considerable investment in Storent, opening the way to a broader development of the company’s activities. “The investment allowed us to further improve the product covering by expanding the equipment fleet and adding new equipment categories. The successful deal between Doosan Benelux SA and Storent is a direct result of this,” said Andris Pavlovs, a Member of the Board at Storent Investments AS.
Today, the Storent fleet has a total value of over 70 million euro, with more than 150 employees working in their several branches in the Baltic States.
Bobcat’s order comprises of 31 skid-steer loaders and numerous attachments, as well as 54 mini-excavators, ranging from the E20 (2 t) to the E85 (8.5 t). According to Andris Bisnieks, a Member of the Board at Storent Investments AS, this is the first batch of Bobcat machines. “In order to contribute to our growth, all equipment from this order is incremental to the existing fleet.”
