DSV Solutions Limited's site in Milton Keynes has achieved ISO9001 accreditation - the International Standards Organisation Quality Standard.
An independent assessment was carried out by the British Standards Institution, during which the site and staff were assessed to ensure that the operations met the requirements of ISO9001 standard.
The accreditation confirms that the DSV operations have a framework for implementing a systematic approach to managing processes to exceed customer expectations and requirements.
Peter Nielsen, Managing Director, DSV Solutions Limited, says: "The accreditation of our Milton Keynes facility is great news for us and our customers. Independent verification that the various bespoke services that we offer at Milton Keynes conform to a certified quality management system means our customers are assured they receive the high level of service that they require and expect."
The type of business handled from the facility, such as pharmaceuticals and home deliveries, requires highly bespoke solutions.
Victoria Beale, General Manager, SHEQ, DSV UK, says: "These industries were new areas for the DSV Quality System to address and manage.
"Moving forward, the aim is to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes, for continual improvement."
To gain ISO certification, the site was required to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide a service that meets customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
