Transport managers tell all about FTA Transport Manager

The popular FTA Transport Manager seminar series is now under way, with the first taking place in Chatham this week, and members of the association who regularly attend the events have chosen to voice their opinions.

Some of the freight industry's leading transport managers came forward to talk about why they thought the series was important, with 'essential information', 'communicating with other members of the industry' and 'continued support', being just some of the reasons.

As part of a special FTA report on the events, each have agreed to be filmed, which can be viewed on the FTA website at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ruDj49QhrY

All of the 2012 FTA Transport Manager events are being attended by a local Traffic Commissioner who will address the delegates, with other prominent features of the seminars including feedback sessions with VOSA at each venue on compliance, enforcement and annual testing. In addition FTA's experts will be on hand to provide updates on the latest transport legislation and vehicle engineering developments.

The seminars are sponsored by leading tyre manufacturer Goodyear, who will be giving away a full set of car tyres to one lucky delegate at the end of the series, plus a Goodyear goody bag at each venue. FTA Transport Manager 2012 is also sponsored by Blue Tree Systems and map&guide.
