Offering high-speed printing, RFID functionality and powerful networking capabilities, these adaptable industrial printers are suitable for all types of environments.
The B-SX6/8 305 dpi, 170.5mm/213.3mm wide print heads facilitate speedy printing of large format compliance labels. A floating print head mechanism guarantees superb print quality with reduced friction and a flat paper path. The ribbon save function conserves the ribbon when it is not required, reducing costs, the amount of down-time required for ribbon changing (available as standard on the B-SX8) and allowing optimal performance for RFID encoding work.
The B-SX6 and B-SX8 models utilise Toshiba's revolutionary CPU technology, this allows enhanced processing via an extensive choice of interfaces - including USB and internal LAN. With the additional options of serial, wireless LAN and RFID interfaces B-SX6 and B-SX8 provide flexibility and choice.
With Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), companies can accurately track assets and monitor key indicators, gain greater visibility into their operations and make decisions based on real-time information. Increasingly, RFID tags are being combined with sensors and tracking technologies like GPS to give companies greater visibility of their supply chains which can reduce risk and optimise business processes.
All of Toshiba's new generation of thermal printers for the industrial environment are RFID ready. The B-SX6 and B-SX8 have a Central Network Management Suite that enables the user to manage all the Toshiba printers attached to the network through the IP address. It exhibits system information and firmware versions, which can be updated across the network simultaneously, plus it allows the user to view the status of each printer in real-time with real-time alerts.
Available in 305 dpi (12 dots/mm) the B-SX6 and B-SX8 offer the same robust and ruggedness as the rest of the SX range of printers but now with more performance in a wide-width format. The new B-SX6 and B-SX8 thermal printers are both equipped with state of the art TOSHIBA PC boards, based on world-class PC notebook technologies. The software and supplies are fully compatible with Toshiba's previous range-topping models - the B-682, B-882, B-672 and B-872 printers.
