Tipton-based logistics company Active Carriers Ltd celebrates 25 years of growth

Tipton-based logistics company, Active Carriers Ltd, is celebrating twenty five years in business following a period of significant growth for the company.

In order to meet the growing demand for its services in the West Midlands, Active Carriers has invested £250,000 in its facilities and equipment. The investment has helped open a new office and has added a 10,000 sq ft warehouse to enable pallets to be processed for distribution.

The company, which employs over 45 people, has also strengthened its fleet and has now over 30 vehicles operating across 20 European countries.

Stewart Pitt, general manager at Active Carriers said: “Our 25th anniversary represents a significant milestone for us as we reinforce our position as a leader in the distribution of palletised freight. I’d like to thank all our hard-working staff and customers. We owe our success to them.”

Active Carriers was established in 1990 by brothers Mark and Paul Adams. In 1994, the company became a member of Palletways, Europe’s largest and fastest growing express palletised freight network, which opened up access to a network of over 400 strategically placed depots across the UK and Europe.
