The brand new Niton XL2 GOLDD handheld XRF analyser will be unveiled to the UK market for the first time at this year's RWM Show in Birmingham.
The Niton XL2 GOLDD is the latest model in the award-winning range of Thermo Scientific Niton XRF analysers and retains the tough and durable casing of the original Niton XL2 instrument whilst incorporating the proprietary GOLDD technology first seen in the flagship Niton XL3t GOLDD.
GOLDD technology allows the Niton analysers to effectively measure elements with atomic numbers as low as thirteen (Magnesium). This allows the sorting of Aluminium, Titanium, Zinc, Bronze, super alloys and speciality steels and makes the Niton XL2 GOLDD the ideal solution for enhanced sorting of metal alloys in the scrap and recycling sector. It provides the recycler with reliable, portable and accurate PMI (positive metal identification) technology to make quick, confident decisions on material purchases, and to rapidly sort large volumes of material.
Visitors to the Niton UK stand, number 1582, at RWM 2010 will be able to view live demonstrations of the Niton XL2 GOLDD and other models in the company's range. Niton UK will also be running a range of promotions for the duration of the show including special introductory prices, awarding a free bottle of champagne with every purchase and promoting a generous trade-in offer for owners of existing Niton models. In addition, every visitor to the Niton stand will receive a free mousemat showing the periodic table.
Michael Sibbald, Sales and Marketing Director at Niton UK, said:
"We are very pleased to be attending RWM 2010 and to have this opportunity to showcase the Niton XL2 GOLDD and the benefits it can bring to scrap metal recyclers. In an increasingly competitive market, fast and accurate metal sorting is absolutely fundamental to ensure maximum profitability in a scrap recycling operation. Our instruments are the perfect tools to accomplish this."
