TGW Ltd. starts up in the United Kingdom. TGW is a major international player in the area of material flow and warehouse intra-logistic systems. With over 800 employees at locations in Austria, Germany, the USA, Spain and Italy and prestigious reference projects, the group has an annual turnover of 206 million Euros and is a global success story. The international presence is expanding further. In January 2007 TGW Ltd. opens as the new TGW Group branch in the UK with a location in the Midlands.
TGW's international experience shows that different markets may need to be developed locally. Different markets mean different people, cultures, languages and mentalities and above all a different set of demands for storage and conveyor systems.

The UK and Ireland are a highly interesting market for TGW. The numerous distribution centres that populate this region are demanding sophisticated intra-logistic solutions. A local presence is necessary to develop this market effectively. TGW will take up a central position in this market with the new branch in the Midlands, gaining a significantly more direct access to the potential market. This will mean that TGW will provide its existing partners in the market with even better support. Jochen Streit will develop the location as a sales and service branch in his function as Managing Director. "As a follow-up to the highly successful individual projects that have been implemented together with our partners in the UK market, the aim is to further establish ourselves in the market" Jochen Streit concluded.
