Europe's leading manufacturer and supplier of new and reconditioned pallets, Scott Pallets, has announced the creation of 10 new jobs at its Huntingdon site in Cambridgeshire to accommodate increased customer demand for its products at this key manufacturing site.
Alan Gibson, Managing Director at Scott Pallets and Scott Packaging, said: "This move signals our long term commitment to investment in our Huntingdon site in the South East and ensures we are providing our customers with completely sustainable pallet solutions to meet their increasing demands."
Scott Pallets' manufacturing operation based in St Petershill Industrial Estate, Huntingdon, already employs 35 staff on its five acre site. Currently producing in excess of 20,000 pallets per week, capacity will increase to 30,000 per week as production expands.
The site produces a comprehensive range of high quality timber pallets including two-way entry and four-way entry which are manufactured on automated assembly lines, in addition to bespoke products built by hand. All pallets are produced with FSC certified timber.
