Schaefer is Top Link

SSI Schaefer proved to be the missing link for many logistic professionals at a recent event at Doncaster Racecourse.

The Logistics Link North exhibition proved to be an invaluable experience for Schaefer, the UK's leading commercial space planning company, in communicating with the rest of the industry and learning about the latest developments and innovative solutions for the supply chain.

Bob Jane, SSI Business Development Manager, said:

"We found the show to be a very effective way of renewing our contacts and of course making new ones in the north. We've had some really good enquiries and the challenge now is to turn those into real business."

Networking with the over 120 suppliers of products, services and systems plus the attending delegates, Schaefer was able to pick up on the key industry needs for improving a company's supply chain, control of the flow of materials and ensuring the right products of the right quality are available at the right time, place and price.

SSI Schaefer is now looking ahead to the future and preparing for their next two exhibitions. The first being the Wales and South West Manufacturing show this November in Cardiff, dedicated to improving overall manufacturing processes and business efficiency and the second in February 2006 at Sandown Park, in Surrey, for Logistics Link South.

Bob continues:

"Industry exhibitions are vital, the pace of technology today is faster than ever. Keeping abreast of technology, new ideas and developments is not an option – it is an absolute necessity for survival."
