RTITB, the UK's largest workplace transport training accrediting body is delighted to announce that they will be sponsoring the UKWA Training Award at the association's annual lunch and awards this year, held at the Dorchester Hotel, Park Lane, London.
With a quarter of all workplace accidents attributed to lift trucks alone, and with a high proportion of those resulting from insufficient training, RTITB are keen to promote the important role played by training across the whole of workplace transport.
This year's UKWA Training Award will be presented to an individual or company that has demonstrated significant personal achievement at any level of development. RTITB's 40 years' experience and knowledge in setting training standards in the industry make the accrediting body the ideal partner for what is an important award that will recognise training and development in the workplace. As a key contributor to the workplace transport safety debate and a leading industry training accreditation body, RTITB has, over the course of its long history, been at the forefront of industry training initiatives and has always been an advocate of awards and competitions that recognise individual achievement through training.
