Queclink Wireless Solutions has unveiled its smallest GPS device to date, introducing a real-time micro tracker designed for advanced warehouse and logistics operations.
The new GL30 tracker combines an ultra-compact, rugged design with multi-network connectivity and enhanced location features, making it suitable for monitoring material handling assets and high-value cargo.
Vernon Bonser, UK Sales Director at Queclink Wireless Solutions, said supply chain organisations are increasingly demanding tools that can provide precise, timely data across warehousing and transport. “Supply chain organisations increasingly demand real-time visibility of asset locations across the warehouse and road transport environment to enhance control, productivity and efficiency, so there is growing demand for smaller and more powerful tracking tools,” he explained.
According to Bonser, the GL30 provides accurate updates and advanced alerting, which can be used to improve inventory management, optimise operations and safeguard valuable goods.
Measuring just 60 × 31.7 × 19.66mm and weighing 27.6g, the LTE Cat M1/NB2 device is 60% lighter and half the size of Queclink’s previous compact solution. The tracker also boasts an IP67 waterproof rating, enabling use in harsh warehouse and transport environments.
Connectivity options include LTE Cat M1/NB2 with 2G fallback and cellular base positioning for reliable updates both indoors and outside. The unit also features Wi-Fi scanning, which enables power-saving when near known networks, while BLE 5.2 compatibility allows pairing with beacons for asset management and accessory integration.
The GL30 offers flexible reporting modes and power-saving functions, including home-zone settings. Depending on reporting frequency, it can last up to 170 days in standby mode. Advanced motion detection and geozoning provide opportunities for monitoring work patterns, improving resource management, and configuring safety alerts.
Bonser added that the tracker strengthens the company’s product range with new levels of portability and functionality. “The GL30 extends our product portfolio with a device that is half the size and 60% lighter than our existing compact solution, as well as adding advanced capabilities for indoor and event-based tracking. We are constantly listening to our technology partners to understand the needs of the marketplace and how we can use our proven expertise to help.”
He said Queclink would continue to expand its portfolio of tracking units, dashcams and industrial routers to deliver cost-effective, feature-rich solutions for the evolving IoT landscape.
