When a top end supplier of electrical accessories decided to enlarge its
offering to customers, it chose more than 200 plates from the Focus SB
range.
Nuline has a diverse range of customers including contractors, end users,
architects and interior designers and the old showroom was not big enough to
display all the products to suit their needs.
Opened earlier this year, the new showroom is built over three floors, with
600 models on display in total, as Les Banks, Operations Manager at Nuline
explains: Our shop is about 10 minutes down the road from one of the most
expensive streets in Europe, so we have a very niche market for designers
and contractors carrying out refurbishments.

The quick turn around and no minimum order is an offering that not many
other companies make and has a great appeal, especially to those working to
a tight timescale.
Nuline has been specifying Focus SB plates for 10 years and it is the tailor
made service to suit practically any colour and finish that is so attractive
to its customers: There has not been a colour or finish yet that we have
asked Focus to put together that it has failed to produce. Bearing in mind
some of the weird and wonderful interior design themes people conjure up,
that is no mean feat!
So proud of the showroom, Les is planning to enter it in the DIY Retailer
Week Awards in September.
Focus SB also has an in-house design and engineering division that are
experts in tool design and manufacturing, so customers can specify exactly
the accessories they want, from initial design and manufacture of
prototypes, to short run or mass production.
Where required, these high specification plates can be engraved or silk
screened with lettering to identify the function of each individual switch
or control on a multi-gang plate. For example, within a kitchen area the
plates can be marked as microwave, washing machine or fridge.
