Pfaff-silberblau is delighted to announce the launch of two new products designed for the UK lifting and handling market.
The company has completely re-engineered its range of screw type cable drum jacks with the twin aims of improving the design and reducing cost. An indispensable aid to cable laying, these jacks will easily handle large diameter cable reels - the new range offers lifting capacities from three to eight tonnes with a lifting height of 310 mm.
New design Cable Drum Jacks – Screw Type
The screw design and assembly have been improved and stronger base plates and two carry handles have been added – resulting in a product which is even more robust, reliable and easy to use.
One of the main gripes often expressed by factory engineers is the difficulty they encounter when assembling Girder Trolleys in situ. The new Pfaff Girder Trolley removes these problems once and for all. It has been designed to be quick and easy to assemble on the beam.

There is no need to dismantle the trolley and the traditional eye bolt has been removed from the design – the screw can be positioned exactly to the beam dimensions – making installation easy and quick. Lifting capacities of 0.5, one and two tonnes are available and the new removable handle prevents damage in use.
Managing Director Paul Kelly comments: “Quite often ‘work horse’ products such as these are for granted and not enough imagination goes into developing them. At Pfaff we are committed to continuous product improvement throughout our range, and these new products are excellent examples of how it is possible to achieve better designed, cost-effective products.”
