The new e-book from The Green Journey offers benefits for any organisation running a vehicle fleet. The fifth edition in the free guidance series helps fleet managers and others to get straight to the heart of the latest sustainability news.
Steve Clarke, Fuel Card Services group marketing manager, said: “Sustainability affects every size and type of fleet and the people responsible for managing them need to be up to date on the latest news. The Green Journey lets any fleet manager, MD, FD or business owner see the most important recent developments immediately, along with advice on what to do about them.”
Every edition of The Green Journey summarises five current topics that could affect UK fleets, collated from worldwide news sources. The key points of each one is highlighted and a link given to the most important source of those used for the item. The five topics each concludes with an ‘Impact Point’ that advises the reader on appropriate action.
The five key topics within the latest edition are Brexit, falling emissions, electric vehicles, eco-innovation and grey fleets. The Green Journey is presented as an eight-frame e-book, for download as a .pdf file or easy online reading.
Steve Clarke said: “Fleet managers face a constant information flow on sustainability. We analyse the news and present just the most immediately important topics. Having been helping fleets for many years, we understand their needs and and can direct them straight to the most relevant news.”
The Green Journey is the Fuel Card Services approach to helping fleet managers to meet sustainability commitments. The advice is based on years of working with fleets, combined with its own experience in meeting international environmental and quality standards. It remains the automotive industry’s only organisation to become an official partner of Cool Earth, the leading environmental charity.
