TMAT Ltd, a multi-national manufacturer of acoustic components for tractors and excavators, has recently cemented its senior management team to drive the business forward.
David Delaney has been appointed Operations Manager and is part of the team that has built TMAT into one of the East Midlands' most successful manufacturing operations, growing 30 per cent in the past year.
David has a long association with TMAT and its customer base, and in his new role, he oversees the key operational elements of the business with around 90 per cent of the workforce reporting to him.
The company, based in Chesterfield, works with some of the world's biggest heavy plant manufacturers including: Case New Holland Tractors, JCB, and Volvo Construction.
David Delaney says: "We've had a clear strategy for moving forward with the business and I'm enjoying the process. I've facilitated many changes across the business, especially the manufacturing facility. It is a much 'leaner' shop floor and our operatives have been key in the decision making too. We are very proud of what we have achieved so far with further improvement plans to implement."
Jason Lippitt, MD said: "Too many business managers are prepared to use the economy as an excuse for performance to deteriorate but David is a vital part of a team that's prepared to fight for new business. His ability to deliver high quality production alongside cost savings is a key component of our success."
