Mendip Truck Centre is part of the family-owned warehousing and distribution specialist Framptons Transport Services, which has been operating transport services from Shepton Mallet, Somerset since the early 1970s.
The Centre will now provide owners and operators in the central Somerset area with a comprehensive range of dedicated services for MAN trucks, as well as general services for other makes and trailers.

The Mendip Truck Centre, which has a VOSA Authorised Testing Facility and carries out on-site MOT's five days a week, employs 12 commercial technicians and two apprentices working across five bays. Two service vans provide roadside assistance cover for breakdowns.
The facility aims to deliver a 'one stop' approach and is open from 06:00 to 22:00 Monday to Friday and 06:00 to 12:00 hours on Saturdays. It offers a large number of on-site services including tachograph calibration and installation, general planned maintenance and repair work, MOT preparation and a steam clean and vehicle wash. Mendip's workshop manager, Bob Miles, said, "We are committed to ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction, and our combination of services is set up to deliver greater convenience and reduced downtime for our customers."
