Magline has chosen the IMHX to launch its Powered Gemini hand delivery truck. The powered hand delivery truck is the first of its kind to be launched in the UK and is being hailed as a major step forward in terms of efficiency and health and safety. The Powered Gemini is fitted with a 750 watt motor that runs in forward and reverse, operating at ideal walking speeds to maximise efficiency on any delivery route. Another first for the Powered Gemini is the nitrogen inflated pneumatic tyres, delaying the necessity for re-inflation by up to six times.
The main advantage of the Powered Gemini Hand Truck though will be the savings to industry in terms of injury claims, reduced workforce burn-out, lessened work related injury, and enabling greater diversity of workforce by empowering operatives who previously have felt less able to work in a physically demanding role.
