Following continual growth in the North, Scotland, the Midlands and the South East, leading logistics recruiter 'Transline Resource Group' now hopes to 'win the west' - starting with Gloucester.
To that end it has appointed experienced transport recruitment professional Graham Goadby as Account Manager to oversee the company's established Wincanton Brockworth driving contract and actively search for new business in the Gloucester area as well as the distribution centres of Bristol and Avonmouth.
Renowned for premium levels of service and training, the group supplies over 5000 driving and industrial staff a day to some of the UK's biggest household name retailers and distributors. Its enviable reputation is spreading fast and with Graham's expert guidance the South West will surely be next.
"Transline Resource prioritises a strong on-site presence and training standards that exceed industry expectations," said Graham. "In what can be a very volatile service industry, it rarely loses contracts because clients appreciate the service levels and support they receive at all times of the day."
Graham comes to the post fresh from a Branch Manager position for a prominent transport recruitment agency. At Gloucester he will ensure its 20-30 drivers a day requirement continues to perform with excellence whilst focussing on exposing as many logistics operations as possible to the benefits of the Transline Resource total on-site managed solution.
"The South West has some major economic centres and is the gateway to Wales and the West Midlands. Logistics is big business and staff efficiency is crucial to its success. By increasing our number of contracts in the area we will strengthen the supply chain and encourage businesses to grow."
Transline Resource National Contracts Manager, Stephen Carr is aware of the challenges Graham will face but is confident he will overcome them. He added: "Graham was the outstanding candidate at interview showing a great deal of character and determination. The position is a very challenging, client facing role but he has all the attributes to promote the company and develop our business in the South West."
