Corvus Robotics, a leader in autonomous inventory management, has announced that LAPP USA has deployed the Corvus One system at its 134,000-square-foot facility in Brownsburg, Indiana.
LAPP, a global provider of industrial cables and connectivity solutions, selected the technology to modernise warehouse operations and strengthen service for its customers.
Within just 30 days of implementation, the fully autonomous drone system reshaped LAPP’s approach to inventory management. Key results include:
• 13x More Coverage – The warehouse now completes 26 full inventory counts per year, compared with just two previously.
• 60% Labour Cost Reduction – The inventory team has been reduced to two people, with staff redeployed to higher-value activities.
• Zero Overtime – Weekend cycle counts have been eliminated, freeing up time and resources.
• Higher Accuracy – Automated discrepancy reports and location imaging have improved visibility, reduced errors, and supported faster fulfilment.
Jason Beltran, Facility Manager at LAPP USA, praised the system’s impact on customer service. “The Corvus One system has been able to help us by providing better service to our customers. Getting the inventory in, in real-time, seeing where it is, and being able to allocate it right away to the customer is a tremendous benefit for us.”
The Brownsburg facility supports both advanced cable manufacturing and nationwide distribution. By automating a process that was previously labour-intensive, LAPP has strengthened both accuracy and agility across its supply chain, ensuring faster and more reliable deliveries to customers.
Jackie Wu, CEO of Corvus Robotics, said LAPP’s experience highlights the value of rapid deployment.
“LAPP’s results showcase how quickly autonomous technology can create measurable value. Corvus One was designed to be operational in weeks, not months, so companies like LAPP can see immediate impact.”
