When TV personality legendary and paranormalist Uri Geller wanted some heavy boxes of crystals moved around his beautiful seven acre Thames-side garden, Jungheinrich came to his assistance with some extra 'fork power' provided by a DFG 320 counterbalance lift truck.
Famous for bending cutlery of every shape and size, even Uri was a little surprised by the subsequent arrival of a two metre high fork, presented to him by Jungheinrich UK Managing Director, Hans-Herbert Schultz.
Thanking Jungheinrich, Uri said: "This is fantastic, I love the bent fork and will use it in my television work. It will be a reminder of how Jungheinrich helped me to move the crystals I use at my home to inspire and motivate seriously ill children to think positively".
The diesel powered DFG 320 truck supplied to Uri Geller by Jungheinrich to move the boxes of crystals is one of the latest 3 Series fork lifts, famous in their own way for being small, strong and the most stable counterbalance lift trucks in their class.
With lift capacities from 1,600 to 2,000 kg, the DFG/TFG 316-320 has Diesel or LPG power with hydrodynamic drive for high efficiency, giving the best productivity to the German VDI 2198 standard.
The German connection goes further, as Uri Geller is a popular guest on German TV shows. He is currently embarking on a search to find a successor to follow in his paranormal footsteps, using telepathy and psychokinetic powers to demonstrate the power of thought and positive thinking.
German born Jungheinrich UK MD, Hans-Herbert Schultz added: "He is an inspirational television performer and we are delighted the DFG 320 truck supplied by Jungheinrich provided the extra fork power needed at his home."
