Integrated Services has won the Lend Lease Team of the Year Award for the customer focus provided by its Birmingham Building Schools for the Future (BSF) team and stock consolidation centre.
The annual Lend Lease Defence and Midlands Awards recognise excellence in their supply chain partners. At this year's event at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole, Integrated Services won the 'Team of the Year - Customer Focus' award for the cost savings achieved by the team on the Birmingham BSF project.
The project has seen Integrated Services provide an efficient supply solution for Lend Lease, including the operation of a stock consolidation centre where materials are delivered and stored and a transport management system to deliver the products efficiently to the school construction sites, as well as giving support with specifying and standardising products for maximum cost efficiencies.
Nikki Corbett, Branch Manager at Aston Integrated Services, collected the award and commented: "The tailored supply solution we have implemented has delivered cost savings for Lend Lease and their supply chain through product standardisation, economies of scale and reduced staff costs. The award recognises the effort of all of the Birmingham BSF team at Integrated Services who have worked tirelessly to achieve the necessary cost savings while still delivering excellent service. We're delighted to be recognised as a valued member of the Lend Lease supply chain."
Integrated Services is a specialist division within Wolseley UK, offering bespoke integrated supply chain solutions, including stores management and procurement models, to clients responsible for large residential social housing estates, major construction projects and off-site construction.
