Global LSP Tigers selects Kewill MOVE Platform to support eCommerce Growth

Tigers, the global logistics and transportation company owned by Jumbo Glory Limited and GeoPost S.A., has selected supply chain execution software from Kewill to manage its multi-site warehouse operations, with integrated transport management and customs functionality. The implementation will build in superior agility to Tigers' rapidly expanding ecommerce fulfillment business, allowing it to respond even more quickly to its customers' changing requirements, as well as optimising efficiency.

The Kewill Logistics solution, part of the Kewill MOVE® multimodal transportation management platform, handles the entire logistics operation from 'front-office' to 'back-office' and is specifically designed to cater to the requirements of multiple customers and product types by utilising multi-level stock-control, allowing many sites to be managed from one virtual warehouse. It supports the different languages, currencies and time zones required by a global business like Tigers, which serves major international brands through its branches in 12 countries worldwide including China, South Africa, Malaysia, USA, UK, Netherlands, Germany and India.

Tigers selected the Kewill software due to its broad functionality, in particular its ecommerce fulfillment capabilities, which include advanced pick and pack, bonded warehouse operations and integration with materials handling equipment. Kewill's extensive experience of successfully implementing supply chain software for global customers on a large scale provided reassurance it could deliver to a high standard, and within the timescales required.

"Speed is of vital importance to succeed in the fast-moving world of ecommerce fulfillment and it is essential that our warehousing operations are optimised to receive and dispatch goods as efficiently as possible," said Andrew Jillings, CEO of Tigers. "The Kewill software will enable us to easily set up or alter customers or product lines using pre-defined workflows, allowing us to respond almost immediately to our customers and ensuring goods can be handled quickly and accurately through our warehouse facilities."

Bob Farrell, CEO at Kewill commented, "The real value of the integrated Kewill MOVE platform is its full supply chain coverage, which means our customers can utilise as much or as little of its capabilities as they need. Tigers is a perfect example of a rapidly-expanding business that is fully exploiting the opportunities brought about by omni-channel, and by implementing the Kewill Logistics solution, they have ensured they have flexible, scalable technology in place that will support them in evolving their business and staying ahead of the game."
