GGP Systems will be launching an important new range of software for emergency services at the upcoming BAPCO 2009 Conference and Exhibition (21 to 23 April 2009, Business Design Centre, London).
GGP Response is a suite of gazetteer management and geographic information software designed to improve frontline services and boost efficiency. Offered as part of an end-to-end solution with full implementation consultancy, training and support, GGP Response has been developed to underpin the transformation of the emergency services and other organisations involved in public safety and civil contingency response.
"GGP Response is being developed in association with one of Britain's leading Fire and Rescue Services. It is evident that there are real data management issues that need addressing before services can be reorganised. GGP Response will address the problems associated with incompatible datasets, disparate systems and cross-border data sharing. It will reduce duplication and ambiguity of data whilst allowing local knowledge to be shared and that is crucial for major initiatives such as FiReControl," commented Tim Maxwell, Managing Director and Founder of GGP Systems.
GGP Response includes GGP's award winning Gazetteer Management Software, Geographical Information System (GIS) and associated web applications. GGP Response provides easy access to national and regional geographic datasets and digital map data for across-region operations as well as local data management.
GGP Response also handles data interchange between local databases and the National Land and Property Gazetteer (NLPG) hub and manages the centralised address database ensuring a consistent, up to date and accurate base for all property based information.
With over 100 public sector installations, GGP's GIS is already established as one of the leading GIS in the UK and it underpins the delivery of the latest generation of integrated and web-enabled services.
GGP Systems specialise in GIS and Gazetteer Management software specifically designed for the UK public sector. The South London based company provides easy to use solutions for the creation and management of corporate property databases, the ability to add and use a spatial element to all location based information and a range of solutions to meet Transformational Government directives.
