Digipostpro a hassle free way to send driver and vehicle data to FTA

With the rapid increase in the number of drivers holding digital cards, the collection of tachograph data can cause delays as drivers queue to have their card data read. The digipostpro - available from the Freight Transport Association - will help commercial vehicle operators and drivers meet their legal obligations by simplifying and speeding up the way essential data can be sent for analysis.

Drivers can now 'post' their driver card data from wherever their company has installed a digipostpro, no matter how remote that location may be, therefore removing the need for the driver to return to company headquarters. The data can then be sent automatically to FTA for analysis via GPRS (mobile network) or Local Area Network (LAN).

Sam Law, Head of Shopfta, said:

"Digipostpro is a significant leap forward and works in practically any location, making the logistical challenge of analysing data from drivers and vehicles that might be spread out across the country a thing of the past."

The digipostpro is supplied with the also recently launched digivu - a fast, easy to use vehicle unit download key which can be configured and which transmits downloaded vehicle unit data via the digipostpro.

The digipostpro and the digivu are supplied as a package for £595.00 + VAT from Shopfta, the leading one-stop-shop for drivers and vehicle operators. Visit www.shopfta.co.uk or call 08717 11 11 11 for more information.
