One of the world's fastest-growing specialist suppliers of DNV 2.7-1 offshore carrying units to the international energy sector, London-based Cargostore International Ltd has appointed Niels Winther Shipping Esjberg as the company's offshore agent in Denmark.
Niels Winther is entering the DNV offshore market with the rental and sale of a wide range of Cargostore DNV 2.7-1 certified offshore containers, specifically designed for the oil and gas and renewable industries, from its terminal at Esbjerg.
Local operators had the opportunity to meet representatives of both companies at a special reception at the port facility in Esbjerg and were shown unique features of Cargostore's range of DNV2.7-1 Offshore CCU's. All are available for immediate rental from the Niels Winthers facility.
One of the industry's key innovators, recent DNV product developments from Cargostore include a new and unique design of ultra-strong cargo-carrying tool box unit with both top and front-loading functionality; a 20ft high cube skid frame featuring 22 flush-mounted D rings, each with a five tonnes breaking strain, offering various lashing options for all kinds of hard-to-deliver non DNV rated equipment; and a new damage-resistant gas rack designed to carry a wide range of bottle sizes.
At the Esbjerg port launch event, Niels Winther agency operator Mads Thorsen said:
