The firm has now installed 4,000 more boxes bringing the network up to 18,000 boxes sited at 1100 locations across the UK.

In the UK the company operates the largest dedicated through-the-night parts distribution service, and makes more than 20 million deliveries a year into its unique national network of drop boxes.

ByBox has secured almost 70 per cent of the specialist field service market in the UK, with more than 90 customers including: Coca Cola, Fujitsu, Unisys, KonicaMinolta, Computacenter, NRG Ricoh, BSkyB, GlaxoSmithkline, Siemens Energy, telent, Cable & Wireless, Norwich Union (RAC) and the Tech Guys.
ByBox already provides a guaranteed pre-8am delivery service to a wide range of companies that operate large mobile field teams. Its service enables clients to improve productivity and minimise stock holdings.
Designed to provide customers with total flexibility the increased offering coupled with technical innovation will benefit ByBox customers in the telecommunications, electronics, pharmaceutical, IT, vending and utilities sectors.
