With two FLTA Awards under its belt, B & B Attachments −the UK's leading fork lift truck attachment company − has become the first attachment company to sponsor the Fork Lift Truck Association Awards for Excellence in the event's 17-year history.
B & B Attachments will join an elite group largely comprising multi-national financial organisations and manufacturers.
The decision to sponsor Awards 2012 felt like a natural progression for the Newcastle-based company's managing director, Mike Barton.
He says: "At B & B, we are fiercely committed to the work of the materials handling industry and are always looking for new opportunities to show our support. For more than a decade we have maintained close links with the FLTA. Through our Membership we have actively encouraged and participated in the Association's campaigns and activities - including the Awards, where we have been fortunate enough to win twice."
In 2004, B & B Attachments was named joint recipient (with STILL Materials Handling) of an Archie in the Environment category. Just five years later the Newcastle-based company received Supplier of the Year honours.
"Now it is our turn to give something back to the industry. Our sponsorship of the Awards allows us to officially thank the Association and its entire membership for the support which has enabled us to prosper."

FLTA Annual Awards for Excellence will be presented on Saturday 18th February 2012 at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel.
