Signode is set to unveil a range of integrated automation and warehouse technologies at MODEX 2026, highlighting how connected systems can drive efficiency across modern supply chains.
The global packaging and automation firm will showcase its latest innovations at the Atlanta event from 13–16 April, demonstrating how automation, packaging and material handling can be combined to improve operational performance across sectors including food and drink, e-commerce and manufacturing.
At its exhibition stand, Signode will present a joined-up approach to end-of-line operations, focusing on how different technologies can work together as a single system.
Rick Hantke, senior director of marketing and product management at Signode, said the event offers a chance to demonstrate the company’s broader capabilities. “MODEX is an important opportunity for us to demonstrate how Signode solutions integrate across end-of-line operations, warehouses, and the complete distribution cycle,” he said.
He added that the aim is to help businesses connect systems more effectively. “Our focus is on helping customers connect automation, packaging, and material handling technologies into cohesive systems that drive efficiency, reliability, and long-term operational performance.”
Among the highlights is the Octopus Prestige automatic stretch wrapping machine, which will be shown working alongside an autonomous mobile robot forklift to illustrate how automation can reduce manual handling and improve safety.
The company will also demonstrate a collaborative robotic palletising system integrated with case opening and sealing equipment, designed to offer flexibility while increasing throughput in packaging operations.
Signode is also set to present its StorFast automated storage and retrieval system, which is aimed at improving warehouse density, enhancing inventory control and streamlining product movement.
The system is designed for high-throughput environments and offers real-time visibility, alongside integration with wider packaging and distribution processes.
In addition, the display will include general purpose strapping systems and a range of manual and battery-powered tools, reflecting the company’s broader portfolio across both automated and more traditional packaging operations.
Signode said its technologies are supported by aftermarket services aimed at maintaining long-term system performance, as businesses continue to invest in automation to improve efficiency and resilience across supply chains.
